Some of the most common elements included in a media kit are a company fact sheet, current industry overview and/or market trends, summary of your products and/or services, current press releases, executive profiles and professional credits, special offers, FAQ's. All key information that best describes you and your business venture. Sometimes, you can include a PDF version of your brochure, business card and company presentation.

An electronic media kit usually will have its own page on your website and/or blog. It's a good idea to include all the major headlines above the fold so the readers do not have to scroll too much. Each headline will link to the appropriate file.

A printed media kit is similar to the electronic version however you should always have an up to date version printed and ready to go. It's a good idea to carry a few of these with you at all times.

It is simple for a VA to create and maintain this portfolio for busy executives. The initial stage of development will require some exchange of information however once the documents are prepared the first time, the VA will be able to easily update and maintain both printed and online versions. You will want to ensure that your VA has experience designing documents for both print and online viewing. Knowledge of html and/or web design and maintenance is also a plus.
