The 2008 American Idol Winner is… And Then The PVR Went Dead

OK, I guess going forward when I am recording a live show I will set my PVR to record the next show as well…

I was left in shock as my PVR stopped right on the hour just as Ryan said, “And the winner is”. It was so disappointing as I was really enjoying the show tonight.

I wonder what sort of controversy this will boil up? Will Fox apologize? Will Ryan be blamed? Maybe the cable companies will come up with some sort of patch for the PVR to detect these things in the future?

Whatever the case, I am not very happy but will always remember to set the following show to record next time.

By the way I think the winner was David Cook… Good for him, I love his voice and the way he injects himself into his music - he is going to make a good Superstar. Actually, I like him over Bryan Adams tonight.

I wonder if David Cook will need a virtual assistant? Hum… that would be a fun gig for sure!
