What Are You The Most Passionate About In Your Business?
If the answer to this question just screams right out at you then you are really lucky.
Not only does this indicate that you are probably in the right business, but that you also know exactly where your true passion lies.
Not everyone is this lucky. In fact, I know a lot of business owners who struggle to learn what their true passion really is. And I know other business owners who become very frustrated because they struggle to find the time to focus on their true passion. If you fall under the latter category then you are in a really great position to expand and grow your business to new heights…
I say that because passion is the key factor behind the success of many very, very successful people. Like Oprah, Celine Dion, and other wildly successful celebrities…Like Kim Lavine, the Mommy Millionaire and my friend and colleague Tawnya Sutherland who founded the largest virtual assistant association online today.
So the key question here is this: How do passionate, struggling business owners move on to become passionate, wildly successful business owners?
If I were to take the word “struggling” and analyze that for each of you who fall under this category then I would be able to come up with some really great solutions…but obviously I can’t do that.
What I can do is define broadly what I feel are the most common attributes from my clients, colleagues, and even in my own business that make up this term. So here goes-struggling to keep up with:
- Technology
- Customer relations
- Email and appointment management
- Housekeeping and family time
- Marketing and administration
- Finances
So as you can see there are many struggling factors that get in the way of following your passion. One solution is to create your own struggles chart. Include all of the things that prevent you from spending time on your passion. Start small if you have to, but find someone who can take over some of your struggles. If you do this every single month you will start to notice that you are happier, spending more time on your passion, increasing your sales, and maybe you will even have a cleaner house…
Passion + Time To Follow Passion = Success
