WordPress; The Ultimate Online Content Management System

We love WordPress and use it every single day! After having the opportunity to experience the effectiveness of this powerful content management system we simply could not do business without it. As you can see, WordPress manages all of our online content needs. This powerful tool enables us to instantly publish our material while automatically sending the content to our subscribers as well as our choice of directories and article submission sites. It is simple to change the look of the site by choosing one of the many themes that are available for free download or by working with a WordPress theme designer that will create a custom design specific to your needs. Adding graphics, files, pages and articles (blog posts) is simplified through a very user friendly administration panel.

The steps we took to get started with WordPress include:

1. Downloaded the latest version of WordPress and installed it into the root directory of our hosting account. Our hosting service provides us with a cpanel which helps to simplify the process.
2. Created the SQL database that will store all of our blog posts, comments, pages and other data.
3. Modified the wp-config file to tell it the name, username and password for the new database.
4. Ran the WordPress install script to get the site up and running.
5. Chose a theme and installed it into the content folder.
6. And finally, worked in all the plugins, widgets, analytics and content.
