A Contest All Virtual Assistants Would Love To Win

As a Virtual Assistant, one thing I miss a lot about my previous employer are all the contests they had.

I worked in a call centre, a telecommunications call centre handling Cable, Wireless, Internet, Blackberry, and Home Phone support and sales, it was both fun and rewarding. We had so many cool sponsors like Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, The Movie Network, HGTV, Showcase Diva, Moviola all delivering really cool prizes everyday for us to raffle off.

Actually, my role as administrative assistant allowed me to work on building an employee satisfaction action team. I created fun contests and team building activities where I would give these prizes as rewards and recognition to those who participated and helped build up the team spirit.

Building this team wasn’t easy and Call Centre Specialists need a lot of love - and deserve it too.

So, I thought I would share this contest with you, it looks really fun, and I would love to see you win a cool prize. It’s not often I get a chance to win cool prizes anymore, not like I use to anyway.

This contest is being put on by a new Virtual Assistant Training and Job Centre called The VAClassroom.com. The prize is really cool, a “VA Business PowerPack” which includes a full website or blog makeover, and a 1 year membership to some popular business tools, Freshbooks and BaseCamp.
